Client Side Validation

Hi All,

We have an ASP.NET web app that makes use of client side validation.
It has a simple form on it with two buttons.
One a clear button the other a submit button.

When WebUIValidation.js is found and used whenever you click on submit (or
clear for that matter) it doesn't appear the server side event handlers run.
When WebUIValidation.js is not found (eg: its moved or renamed) the server
side event handlers run and the form is submitted or cleared.

Its very similar to the problem talked about her
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=e...gbl%26rnum%3D3

Anyone have any thoughts on what could be happening?

Thanks
Rick

Are you checking Page.IsValid before you react to the submit?
A "clear" button usually should use no validation (CausesValidation=false)

The server side validators should always run, even if they already worked client-side
(because client-side is not guaranteed)
