I'm already a experienced c# developer and now it's
time to move my current application into a web.
It's a payee software based on SqlServer.
My expectations are:
1) The same functionality as Windows Forms.
2) No additive software on client side - browser only.
3) Easy to manage / upgrade.
4) It will have to run both - smal LANs and a WANs as good.
Have You any links to working Application in ASP.Net that I
could see? I mean real application with many input forms and
output reports not only "order status" or "flower deliver reports"
which many i saw but it's incompareable to a things that i have
to do.What about Longhorn and XAML? Will it replace
ASP.Net? They are proud of to say that on this platform We
will develop an single application that will run both WinForms
and by the browser - the only difference is a compilation methood.
Maby it makes no sense to learn Asp.Net if tehnology coming
with Longhorm will override it? Hmmm ... maby I'm wrong or
confused? Feel free to bring me the light ...
