Implementing IIS with Web Application

Dear :
I have a web site, and I need to Implement SSL and HTTPs ,what should I do
to implement such thing?
by other words How to Start?

The first step is in obtaining a certificate. If this is an in-house
application, and you have Windows Server 2000 or 2003, you could
install your own certificate server and have one for free.

For an Internet application, you'll want to go to a well known
certificate authority like Verisign.
