Map in an asp.net application?

I have an autocad drawing of my building and I'd like to be able to have
users search for a particular room in the building and the appropriate room
would be highlighted (or indicated by some other method, doesn't really
matter at this piont) on the map. This must be done through an online .aspx
page of course.

Is there a way to do this easily that I'm missing? My thought was simply to
change the drawing to a .jpg and store the coordinates of the rooms in a
table in a sql database. I could then retrieve this info and highlight a
giant X or something at those coordinates. This might be a big pain in the
butt trying to maintain however...

Is there a better way to accomplish what I need? A website detailing a code
sample would be greatly appreciated. Even a cheap control that might
accomplish the same thing would work...

Thanks in advance,

Jason
