Problem Opening Asp Project.

I am trying to open a ASP.Net project which was not created on my machine.
I have copied the project to the inetpub folder. When I try to open from
the project file it says I need to open with the URL. WHen I attempt to
open the project by the url i do not see it listed. I am using
http://localhost. I can broswe IIS and see the project but cannot open in
VS.Net.

Is this a security issue?

i assume you marked the project folder as a virtual directory ? and maybe
fixed the project files (open with notepad) and if you find a reference to
your previous machine then change it to this machine
...(http://machinename/projectname to http://localhost/projectname )
