Creating a dynamic modular site...

Im starting an application, using forms authentication, that will allow
a user to log in and have a certain look and feel that applies to them.
I've looked into making IHttpModules and adding them to the web.config
file so the entire application uses them. Is there another easier method
i should be looking at, so i dont bog down the application as it grows,
using this method? Just looking for a few pointers on the best way to
start this project.

Your question is a little on the vague site. IHttpModule are good...not
sure what exactly you are worried about..
