admin sections or back-end in asp.net

hi,
i've realized some component in vb6 that i named "WEB framework"
that from a database creates an administration console for all the data...
Now my scenario is :
i've site with a catalog and web admin section to manage data in the
front-end.My framework read data from configuration data from db and
build the output ......
i use vb6 compenent and .ASP page
now i'm considering to pass on ASP.NET and i wouldn't use the vb6 com
and i'm wondering if already exist some free project or code ...
i need a point of start for realize my project ....
