Cannot create private message queue on remote server.

Hello All,

I am trying to create a private MSMQ message queue on a remote
application server from an asp.net application using the following
code:

Dim queue As MessageQueue
queue = MessageQueue.Create("FormatName:DIRECT=OS:AppServe r\private$\"
& Me.TextBox1.Text)

The trouble is I receive the following error:

Cannot create a queue with the path
FormatName:DIRECT=OS:AppSever\private$\TestQueue.

I have tried dirrerent variations of the path, with/without the
"FormatName" and "Direct=OS" etc, but to no avail, that just gets me
an "Invalid Path" error message. The code works when creating a queue
on the local machine, which begs the question first, is it possible to
create a queue on another computer.

I have searched around, but found little on this problem, an article
on MSDN stated that it was possible, but a couple of other posts I
have read say that it isn't.

Any help or guidance on where I am going wrong would be greatly
appreciated.

Marcus
