Loading templates from a database?

Hi
In order to load templates dynamicly you can use Page.LoadTemplate(pathtoatemplate);
right?
The template in this case is a usercontrol, could be a template for a datalist
for example.
What I would like tot do is to have this template in a database (for easy
editing).
And load the template directly from the database.

Does anyone know if this can be done? or how =)
