Please Help.It is very urgent

Hi

I format my M/C and install fresh copy of Win2000 and ISS.First
thing after that i install VS.net and every thing goes well without
any error. When i try to open asp.net application i am getting

web access failed
The default web access mode for this project is set to file share, but
the
project folder at "http://..." cannot be opened with the path
"C:\inetpub\...."

I search the internet and try all possible solutions but nothing work.

Can anyone please help me with this one. From three week i am stuck
with this error. It is very urgent.

Thanks in advance.

You probably don't have an IIS virtual directory created for that app. Do a web share for that app or create a virtual directory for that folder in IIS management console.

Also make sure you have the server extensions turned on on that app.

and check box under server extension tab is checked(Enable Authoring)

I was thinking when you create the project ISS create the dir.Anyway i
create Test directory on c(C:\Test) and give the share Name Test and
give all like Admin,ASP.Net,VS Developer and Everyone FULL Control.
create a virtual Dir in ISS pointing to this newly created Dir. and
try to open project and it looks like it is opening the project but i
waited 45 min. it did not.Any idea.
