DirectorySearcher.FindAll()

Can anyone tell me why the code below returnes oX80005000 Unknown Error on W2K Advanced Server but doesn't work on W2K SBS:

DirectoryEntry tmproot = new DirectoryEntry(ADPrefix + member.Replace("/","\\/"));
DirectorySearcher tmpsrch = new DirectorySearcher(tmproot);
tmpsrch.PropertiesToLoad.Add("objectclass");
tmpsrch.PropertiesToLoad.Add("distinguishedName");
tmpsrch.PropertiesToLoad.Add("cn");
tmpsrch.PropertiesToLoad.Add("sAMAccountName");
tmpsrch.PropertiesToLoad.Add("DisplayName");
SearchResultCollection tmpresult = tmpsrch.FindAll(); (unknown error)
