How is the number 8000 displayed in French?
8 000
or
8,000?

The first. The comma is the decimal in French numerics and spaces are used
for 1000's separator.

dumb question not being french, but knowing some spanish... how do you
seperate decimals then if the decimal is the comma there? is it like this
8.000 000,00 ?
