Use the timer control/class. See below.
public class Timer1
{
public static void Main()
{
System.Timers.Timer aTimer = new System.Timers.Timer();
aTimer.Elapsed+=new ElapsedEventHandler(OnTimedEvent);
// Set the Interval to 5 seconds.
aTimer.Interval=5000;
aTimer.Enabled=true;
Console.WriteLine("Press \'q\' to quit the sample.");
while(Console.Read()!='q');
}
// Specify what you want to happen when the Elapsed event is raised.
private static void OnTimedEvent(object source, ElapsedEventArgs e)
{
Console.WriteLine("Hello World!");
}
}

Hi All,
I am suppose to write a service that will timely pop email from the pop
server and save into database.
I have done:
1. Pop emails
2. Save to databse
But how to make it automatically, by giving a period of time. As we have
in Microsoft Outlook.
Regards
