Need Code Sample for ASP and and browsing files and folders on the Server

P: n/a
Hello,

If anyone can point me to a good ASP based Control Panel for IIS5, I would
be much obliged.

I hacked together an ASP site for file uploads and sharing. Its very simple,
and basically shows the user the files that exist in one folder. I want to
expand this functionallity so that they can create/delete subfolders and
files under thier root folder on the webserver. And perhaps eventually allow
the users to create subfolders and associate a UserID to that folder.

Think of it like this: You are a small business, and need a bit of web
storage space to share files with your customers/business partners. For
many, files that are larger than 10M are not practical to send via email.
That is where this site comes in. A subscriber has anywhere from 100M to 5G
of SAN space at a service provider, but rather than have a seperate account
for each of thier customers, they rent the block of space, and chop that up
into sub folders based on thier need. Current customers are mostly in the
commercial printing industry, and the system give thier artists and
customers the ability to move large files around easily. They dont have to
burn big photoshop images to CD and have them schlepped across the city, esp
under tight deadlines.

The system I have works well for a single folder. In fact, its marvelous.
But, I have been getting requests for a system that is more robust, giving
the subscribers the ability to divi up the space they are renting.

To this end, I need the code that can show folders and the files they
contain, much in the same way that the windows file explorer does. I have
put quite a bit of time into searching for code samples on the net, and I
just havent located something that works the way I need it to.

So.. is there there a control panel product, or public domain code that can
do what I am talking about ?

Thank you in advance for any input you may have.
