I send a popup to client then I redirect to the main page but the
popup doesn't raise. If I comments the Response.Redirect line the
popup is raised
How can I solve this problem???
thanks
Response.Write("<SCRIPT Language=Javascript> \n var
openInfoWindow=window.open('popup.aspx','wininfo', 'scrollbars=0,tollbar=0,menubar=0,statusbar=0,resi zable=0,width=300,height=300');
\n </SCRIPT>");
Response.Redirect("main.aspx"); 2 4193
AFAIK you can't send content to the browser and redirect (in ASP classic you
had an error message when trying to do this, here it looks like
response.redirect automatically discards the current output).
Show rather the popup when main.aspx loads (body onload for example)...

Hi,
Using the response redirect will not allow you to send any text to the
browser. The solution to the is to use meta tags in the HTML to do the
redirect or to make a redirect using a javascript. There is a sample http://grizzlyweb.com/webmaster/javascripts/refresh.asp .
Hope this helps
Cheers
