how do I prevent this problem

When you navigate my website, the following message pops up:

This page contains both secure and nonsecure items. Do you want to display
the nonsecure items?

What can I put in my code or html to prevent this from happening?

https needs to be used for all refs on the page including images. use
relative paths.
