Control is not visible on a client

I have this ASPX code
<asp:xml id="xmlData" Visible="True" runat="server" EnableViewState="False"></asp:xml
How come document.all.xmlData says "undefined"?

By default Xml control sends the given XML to the client (applying XSL
transformation with default stylesheet or with given stylesheet), it doesn't
create any XML islands or other objects that would scriptable & available at
client-side.
