Hi,
I am having trouble integrating a System.Windows.Forms.Control into an
asp.net page.
I based my tryout on the sample provided in the quickstart tutorials
(http://samples.gotdotnet.com/QuickSt...?url=/quicksta
rt/winforms/doc/WinFormsIeSourcing.aspx).
When implementing the control like this:
<object height="100" width="100"
classid="MyWindowsControls.dll#MyWindowsControls.S impleControl"></object>
it shows up in the browser as a broken image.
I tried adding http: to the classid attribute, that didn't help.
I tried to base my Control on the Control class and the UserControl class
but that didn't help.
The directory is configured as an application, and the execute permissions
are set to scripts only.
I have my IE security settings set to enable or prompt, depending on the
source or nature of an ActiveX control.
I browse to the page holding the control with http://localhost
Thank you in advance for any advice or resource that could give me a
direction to follow.
