Why multiple postings ?

HI !

When tracing my application I note that button clicks results in
2 or even 3 executions of the the related event.
Why is that, how do i get rid of that behaviour ?

Is it related to Validation controls ? Smartnavigation ?
or the fact that we are using a bas class for all our pages ?

Any ideas ??
