ASP.net comparisons (ANN?)

I debated over whether or not to post this on the .ann group or not. Its not
an announcement as I am really looking for feedback only on the asp.net
relative portions. This does of course require the user visit web pages about
a product for ASP.net.

We have recently released an ASP.net related product. I say released - but it
has not been launched yet (Thats what Cebit is for!). We are in the stages
now of preparing whitepapers, documentation, fine tuning installs, etc.. I
wont go into the product here or what it is - this is not intended to be an
announcement message.

In the past we have competed with other tools. With ASP.net we are not
directly competing, but more of an add on to ASP.net. But our past
"marketing" has always had to be agressive against other competitors. This
may continue to shade our comparisons, although we hope we have not presented
it this way relating to ASP.net.

We have very recently posted some white papers and other materials that show
how our product both is different than plain ASP.net, as well as how it works
with ASP.net.

In an effort to make sure we have presented the ASP.net code correctly as
well as statements and contrasts made about how our product works with
ASP.net I'd like to invite you as ASP.net users, gurus, and novice users to
review the content.

If there are any mistakes regarding ASP.net, or other I'd like to know so
that we might correct them before our official launch.

There are several URLs, but the main one is:
http://www.atozed.com/intraweb/aspnet/

Many other links can be followed from it.

Another one that I would appreciate scrutinized is:
http://www.atozed.com/intraweb/aspnet/CodeCompare.iwp

The first thing that should be understand about IntraWeb is: IntraWeb does
not compete with ASP.net, or at least not in a way that one might assume.
IntraWeb makes your ASP.net applications more powerful, makes development
easier, lowers development costs, and makes your weblications run better!
IntraWeb complements ASP.net and is best used in conjunction with ASP.net
rather than instead of. In fact IntraWeb is built upon ASP.net's HTTP
handlers and modules.

I only made it this far and was put off by the grammar. May I suggest a
rewrite to:

A few discerning comments about IntraWeb:
IntraWeb does not compete with ASP.net, or at least not in a way that
one might assume. IntraWeb facilitates the development of more
powerful, less costly solutions which run better and are easier to
develop compared to competitor products.
IntraWeb complements ASP.net and is best used in conjunction with
ASP.net. In fact IntraWeb is built upon ASP.net's HTTP handlers and
modules.

That first paragraph did read a bit odd. I've changed it a bit, see if its
more to your liking.

Also for reference - "Which" English are you a native speaker of? That is
American, British, Irish, Australian, etc?

We'll Im a bit oppposite of you then. :)

Raised on a Canadian dialect (yes there is such a thing) of American English.
Then got infused with just a trace of a Southern accent from moving into the
deep south. And no living in Europe for several years, with winters in a
former British colony I've got that influence.

When I go home to visit, noone can place my accent, or dialect. I cant keep
petrol/gas zee/zed and a million/billion things straight now.
i like the finished piece.excellent.

Thanks. Did you get past the first paragraph this time? :)

Did you get a chance to read the code comparison too? No glaring inaccuracies
there?
