HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error

When I try to create ASP.NET Web Application I get error :HTTP/1.1 500
Internal Server Error
I tried aspnet_regiis -i
it doesnt work. What Can I do?

Has anybody found a solution to this problem that works? I've tried
everything that has been posted in this thread, as well as everything
that MS has on their site concerning it. Everything was just peachy
when I used VS 2003, .NET Framework v1.1 and Win2000. I switched to
WinXP and now I get this message.
What will fix this? (instead of tossing XP and reinstalling 2000)
