IProvider & Provider Model Resources

I've read a bit about ASP.NET 2.0's use of the Provider model, and would
like to use the same pattern for some applications I'm working on -- the
"plugability" they provide fits the apps' requirements well. However, I've
been unable to find any quality resources on writing Providers (i.e.
classes that implement an IProvider interface) and components that use
them. I've read the little bit of info from Ron Howard's blog
(http://weblogs.asp.net/rhoward/archi.../07/36393.aspx) and in the
book he co-authored (A First Look at ASP.NET v.2.0), however neither of
these provide an in-depth look at writing and using providers.

Has anyone come across anything that gives some more detail on Provider
models?

TIA,

Brett Johnson
