Photo Album

I'd like to create an ASP.NET-based photo album. Rather than creating a
bunch of HTML pages as in a typical photo album, I'd like to leverage the
dynamic capabilities of ASP.NET.

Any suggestions for getting started, samples, or articles would be greatly
apprecated... I'm particularly interested in knowing which controls to use
to display the thumbnails and full-sized graphics, and how to display the
full-sized graphic when a thumbnail is clicked.

Thanks.

You may be able to use the GetThumbnailImage method of the Image object to
help out with your project.

You might want to give this a try
http://www.microsoft.com/belux/nl/ms...tphandler.mspx

the document details how to use a lot of features of .net and the example is
of a photo album.
i have used an approach very similar and it's wicked.. though storing images
in db.
also using advanced features like caching etc. (can be found half way
through the document)
Really worth a read.

Hi Ben,

While you're looking at features, you might want to see how this $25
commercial product does it:
