Container.DataItem doubt

Hi, I'm getting troubles with this sentense:
<asp:CheckBox id="CheckBox1" runat="server" Checked='<%#
Container.DataItem[Free]" %>' >

The error raised is Cannot apply indexing with [] to an expression of type
'object'

What am I missing??
