Modify the SessionState mode programmatically

Hi, everyone:

I want to modify the value of the SessionState. I also need to do it
programmatically (not by modifying the web.config file).
My first option was alter the value of the Mode Property of the Session
Object, but it is a readonly property.
Do I have any alternative?

Thank you,
Promenade
