passing session variables to popup

hi,

I am opening a popup using

window.showModalDialog
('abc.aspx','','dialogWidth:1200px;dialogHeight:80 0px;left:
true;help:no;resizable:yes;');");

In abc.aspx, session variables should be accessible. I
have checked it with IE 6. And in abc.aspx, session
variables are accessible but i dont know about IE 5.

Can any one suggest wether it will work in IE 5 version
also or not??

Thanks,
Sumit

It'll work ... session variables are on the server
typically linked to a session cookie on the client.
