SetFcus using Javascript

Hi,

I have a textbox on an asp page.

The text in my textbox is 'MM/DD/YYYY'.

When the user tabs into teh textbox I clear
the 'MM/DD/YYYY' and set focus to the control.

However, eventhough the control has focus the cursor is
not flashing so it is unlcear for teh user.

Does anyone know what the probem is here?
