Hello,
I have searched the Internet for a while and found hundreds of Content
Management Systems. Most of them use PHP, although many have been written
using ASP.NET. The problem is that I really do not know which one is really
good. I would like to purchase a good CMS with source code and tweak it to
my needs.
I also saw lots of Starter Kits and other free packages - is there any CMS
on the net?
Thanks for any links and resources.

Hi, Leszek
Try the Community or Portal Starter Kits at http://www.asp.net/Default.aspx?tabindex=9&tabid=47. They
should give you an excellent starting point for what you
want to do. Best part is, they're free. =)

Hi Leszek,
Don't forget to check out Rainbow.
"Rainbow is a content management system (CMS) based on MS IBUYSPY portal. We
have extended it by implementing multi-language; multiple portals; different
themes." http://sourceforge.net/projects/rainbowportal/

Hi Leszek,
You can check out Rainbow.NET and DotNetNuke. Both are based on the Microsoft IBUYSPY portal starter kit (and both are free with source-code).
Check out: http://www.rainbowportal.net/Rainbow/Default.aspx http://www.dotnetnuke.com/DesktopDefault.aspx
Good luck :) Mark This thread has been closed and replies have been disabled. Please start a new discussion. Similar topics
