Index Server and Powerpoints

Hi,

I have a website that I need to build that will allow the users to upload
PowerPoint files, and then search on them. I know how to upload the files,
display them, etc., but I've never used Index Server. I do think that Index
Server sounds like the way to do this.

When I'm searching for presentations that contain keywords, will Index
Server return a filename that has that keyword(s), and then I can pass that
as a parameter to a page that will launch it in a new window (basically I
will format the Index Server search results into my own custom URLs since
Index Server can't know how I want them to be displayed).

Is this correct? Any help or pointers would be appreciated!

Thanks
