Build and Browse

I know this is a stupid question, but I'll be danged if I can't find it.

I used to have a build and browse on the file menu when looking at aspx
webforms (I know it didn't appear for the code behind pages). Somehow, I've
managed to either remove it, or it's been phased out.

Anyone know how to get it back? Yep - I admit, I'm lazy and I liked the
command.

Chad,

I found out that you can add the "Build" and "Browse" menus to your File
Menu.

I have to recreate my File menu form scratch and I don't remember how it
looks like and
What submenus it had and what was in them

Go to Tools
Select Commands Tab
Select Debug from Categories on the left "small" window
Select the File Menu
Drag and drop from the Commands ( in the customize Dialog), the command you
want to add to the File menu
So Drag a command from the Debug-Commands to the file menu
you are done

Now if you like to help me out
What is the Structure of the file menu that I lost so I can rebuild it
Or does anyone know how to bring back the default File menu??

Thanks

For both the problems of this thread, please perform the following steps to
get the default menu settings:

1. Select Tools->Customize...

2. Select Options Tab

3. Click the "reset my usage data" button

Does it answer your questions? If I have misunderstood your concern, please
let me know.

Jacob,

My File menu is missing one item still that I could not restore
So:
I just tried "Reset Window Layout" button, but it did not restore my File
Menu the way it was
I am still missing one item.
I will have to try it some other time when I completely lose my file menu
and will let you know what it does.
I am not willing to take the risk again and lose my File Menu if you don't
garantee me that it will work
remember I spent 1 hour to restore it ( fully except one item) manually.
Thank you for the help and this tip

5. Click "OK"

It works fine for the "File" menu on my side. Please test it on your side
