sorry for the cross post, but i have no idea where my problem is coming
from. i'll start client side, but i hope to be able to do something server
side....
//client win ie 5.5/6.0 clients are receiving dialog:
[ Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site
{http://hostheader.[path?req]}.\nOperation Aborted. ]
//DNS -- w2kas
internal server pointing clients to both internal and external server at
host connected through vpn.
//IIS -- w2kas,1.1
hostheaders directing name to one of several applications. problem is with
application that 6 dns entries: domain1.com, domain2.com, domain1.com, www
..domain2.com, www .domain3.com.
//HttpApplication
1.1,c#.net,vb.net,sql2k
error seems to be occuring on the presence of a particular user control.
control renders <img> tags as well as
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">
//...
hilterow["yo"] = new Image(w,h);
hiliterow["yo"].src = "/images/yo.gif";
//...
</script>
just below the form. the script is run b4 the window.onload event. looking
at a netmon trace i see packets ended w/:
hiliterow["yo"].src = "/images/y
is IE running the script b4 it has received the continuing packet and
throwing the dialog? that's my best guess after typing all of this
out...and i hope so, i'll just put everthing into a call on the
window.onload event.
otherwise, i hope someone can point me in the right direction...
TIA~ PJ
