Hi misters,

I am using a CssClass to fix the gridview header in ASP.Net 2005(C#),which
is working fine in IE..But not working in Firefox..This is the cssclass which
I'm using right now

background-image: url(tdbg.jpg);
color: #002F5C;
font-weight: bold;
font-size: 10px;
font-family: Verdana;
text-align: left;

WrapperDiv TH
position: relative;
WrapperDiv tbody
overflow:auto;w idth:100px;
WrapperDiv TR
height: 0px;

This is how I implemented the css in the gridview

<DIV style="overflow :scroll;height: 220px;width:740 px;" id="div1">
<asp:GridView id="gvKOLOrgano n" runat="server" AllowPaging="fa lse"
AllowSorting="T rue"
AutoGenerateCol umns="true" CellPadding="1" CellSpacing="0" GridLines="None "
Width="722px" CssClass="Wrapp erDiv" OnRowEditing="g vKOLOrganon_Row Editing"
OnRowCommand="g vKOLOrganon_Row Command"
OnRowCancelingE dit="gvKOLOrgan on_RowCanceling Edit"
OnRowUpdating=" gvKOLOrganon_Ro wUpdating">

<PagerStyle CssClass="grdPa ger" HorizontalAlign ="Right" />
<RowStyle CssClass="grdRo w" />
<SelectedRowSty le BackColor="blac k" />
<AlternatingRow Style CssClass="grdAl tRow" />
<EmptyDataTempl ate>
No Records are found.
</EmptyDataTempla te>

Can anyone help me to sort out this problem???

Thanks in advance, greetings

Re: ASP.NET 2.0 I would like suggestions or code examples on how to collect a variable length list of input data (item# & item quantity specifically). I thought that I could accomplish this using a GridView that has ViewState enabled, an ObjectDataSource to process the submitted list, textboxes for getting new item data and an add button. Does this approach sound feasible or are there better alternatives? My problem is that I don't...

A lot of Firefox users I know, says they have problems with validation where the ampersand sign has to be written as &amp; to be valid. I don't have Firefox my self and don't wont to install it only because of this, so I hope some of you gurus can enlighten me with this :) In what circumstances can the "&amp;" in the source code be involuntary changed to "&" by a browser when or other software, when editing and uploading the file to the web...

Helo All, The problem: GridView control does not render at all (header/footer) when the data source is empty. I have seen a similar question posted already, but I just can not believe there is no simple solution. I do not believe ASP.Net team took this, sort of, innovative approach and left no way out. Could anybody advise?

The PagerSettings.Visible property is not being handled properly by the GridView control. The value assigned to this property is not applied until after a postback. Simplest test : .aspx containing a single gridview - enable paging and give enough data to page. add checkbox with auto postback enable add button with auto postback enable in the GridView1_PreRender method add the following : GridView1.HeaderRow.Enabled =

I have a user control which contains an UpdatePanel, which contains a MultiView inside, with a GridView in one of the views. In my GridView, I have a ButtonField which is supposed to trigger a server-side operation, using the RowCommand functionality. In IE, this all works great, but in Firefox (v2.0.0.6), clicking the above mentioned ButtonField fires off two similar AJAX requests, which is causing errors in my server-side code. ...

I have a sub in vb.net that adds extra headers to a gridview and it works very well. however, i tried to translate it to c# and i'm getting the header inserting itself over the first datarows and inserting blank rows at the bottom. i can post the code if necessary for the C# but it basicly mirrors the vb.net -- (i''ll be asking a lot of these, but I find C# totally way cooler than vb

Hi, I have a gridview and I need it to display correctly in Opera. I need to set the row height, so that even on the last page of data all the rows are the same height as on the other pages. In IE and firefox, setting a height in the rowstyle of the gridview and not setting any height on the grid works really well... exactly what I need.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
