Description of functions in WebUIValidation .js

I am trying to learn exactly what each of the functions in
WebUIValidation .js does and exactly how to use them. Can anybody direct me
to a website that gives a good description of each one? I am using ASP.NET
2.0. Thanks.

We are using our own custom JavaScript validation as well as .Net validation. However, when we include our custom validation on a page, ..NET does not render/write the '/aspnet_client/system_web/1_0_3705_0/WebUIValidation.js' path on the page. If we do not include our own custom JavaScript validation, .NET DOES render/write the '/aspnet_client/system_web/1_0_3705_0/WebUIValidation.js' path on the page. I would like to make sure the...

I created an ASP.NET web application. I added a TextBox and a RequiredFieldValidator control, and set the ControlToValidate property of RequiredFieldValidator control to be TextBox1. After I built and run the application, it pops up an error dialog as follows: unable to find script library '/aspnet_client/system_web/1_1_4322/WebUIValidation.js'. Try placing this file manually, or reinstall by running 'aspnet_regiis -c' any ideas??...

I have created a web application using C#. I have done several web based apps in C# and have not had this problem before. I think this may be a defect in the VisualSutdio.net2003. I am using a regualar expression validator on a nested user control within my page. Everytime I try to compile the app I recieve the following message. Microsoft JScript runtime error: 'undefined' is null or not an object

I have read all of the questions about the error: Unable to find script library '/aspnet_client/system_web/1_1_4322/WebUIValidation.js'. Try placing this file manually, or reinstall by running 'aspnet_regis -c' I have tried to make sence out of the advise but I can't get this thing to work. Since there are so many requests for this soulution perhaps someone could take the extrat time to write a step by step process on how to fix this problem...

Hi! I've developed an application that uses forms based authentication. The logon page uses the file WebUIValidation.js a couple of places and the file is located in the right place on the server. I have a user who uses a Linux browser which gives the following error when he tries to log in: http://server/aspnet_client/system_web/1_1_4322/WebUIValidation.js: SyntaxError: Parse error at line 342

Hi, I'm getting some strange error on one of my pages: The page is composed of some nested ascx controls, the error I am getting is 'undefined is null or not an object'. The error occurs in line 180 of WebUiValidation.js (if (typeof(val.evaluationfunction) == "string") ) and is caused by an Error (?) in the Page_Validators Array: The Index of the Array starts from 0 up to 5 and then suddenly continues from 20 up to 24.

Today when I run my application and click the "edit" link within a DataGrid, the new screen is displayed and I get this message which pops up (which must be coming from ASP.Net....Not within my application) stating that "it couuld not find the module WebUIValidation.js" and that I should either copy this file or I should run "aspnet_regiis -c". So I go down to the dos prompt and run "aspnet_regiis -c". That runs fine, but when I look in...

Hello, I have found a small bug in WebUIValidation. In a page I use a CompareValidator to check that the user input date in correct format. When using Culture Latvian the date looks like: "2005.12.13." (note the last dot!). I use .net framework 1.1 and version "1_1_4322/webuivalidation.js" in my application.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
