Adding controls to Treeview nodes possible?

Hi all,

Is it possible to add controls like buttons, textboxes etc to treeview nodes
like this link:

http://webui30.componentart.com/tree.../WebForm1.aspx

The nesting asp.net components example.

............... ...........or do I have to buy this component to do it. :-)

Thanks

Well then how did they do this if you cant do it with ASP.NET Treeview, did
they completely rewrite the control?

Because I have successfuly added HTML controls,button ,radio button etc but
have not figured out how to use them yet.

Thanks

I think they do not used the standard ASP.NET Treeview Control, they
created their own, and if you want to use it you have to buy the
license

This is a third party control not shipped from Microsoft and provides
additional functionality. There are many ASP.NET 3rd party suites that
provide additional features not shipped in System.Web.UI.W ebControls,
for example of embedding content inside nodes:

http://www.telerik.com/demos/aspnet/...DefaultCS.aspx

In this approach they are using templates per node to define custom
content per node:

<radt:RadTreeNo de Text="Inbox">
<NodeTemplate >
<div class="boldNode ">
<%# DataBinder.Eval (Container, "Text")
%>
</div>
&nbsp;
<div class="blueNode ">
<%# DataBinder.Eval (Container,
"Attributes['New']") %>
</div>
</NodeTemplate>
<radt:RadTreeNo de />

Very convenient. But then again it is a custom 3rd party solution and
costs money.

But when I add new nodes and I want to look for a specific item then I only get the Items from the beginning --> something is not working with the clear() method. Please help me!?! juvi

I need to expand/collapse TreeView nodes to show/hide childnodes by clikcing on the node text (instead of using the expand/collapse icon). Does anyone know how to do that? (What property has to be set on the TreeView control?) My control I bound to a web.sitemap as below: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <siteMap> <siteMapNode title="Home" url="Default.aspx"> <siteMapNode title="About" url="About.aspx" />

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
