ASP.NET 2.0 Default Button problem

I have a simple test form with a panel and default button defined,
textbox, RequiredFieldVa lidator. If i open the form and press enter the
RequiredFieldVa lidator will prevent the form to be submittet but if i
press enter a second time the form will be submitted and
RequiredFieldVa lidator will be ignored. Is this by design? or how do i
prevent the form to be subbmitted a second time

Hi! I have a problem that's driving me nuts: I have a webform with a user control containing a number of buttons at the top. On my form I have a search button that I want to be the default button - so that if you type something into one of the fields on my form and hit <Return> this button is activated. I have made sure that the "TextChanged" method of the input field of my form should trigger a search button click.

I am using some buttons to hide/show various divs and am changing the style of the button to indicate which button's view is "active". My problem is that for the non-active buttons I want the default look. Once I change a button's style to something else what is the style setting to revert them back to this default? EX: Button starts at default.

I have a simple form that has two submit buttons on it. The problem I have is that I want one button to be the default button when the user is filling out one section of the form and another button to be the default when filling out a different art of the form. I can't seem to find a way of stopping the first button on the form begin selected. I know there is a way to do this in ASP.NET 2.0 but I can't seem to find one in ASP.NET 1.0

What trouble I'm having setting default buttons on a page (with a master page). I got around doing it on a page basis by calling the SetWizardDefaultButton() routine from page load. Notice how messy it looks because I could not find the required button any other way but by using the id it is given in the source code. I tried every combination of nested 'findcontrol' methods I could think of, but none worked??!! It seems to be...

I have an application that is designed for using with a bar code scanner. I want the user to know that the scan was complete and the data was entered, so I am playing a system sound after data entry. The data is being put into a text box, and a Return is sent after the data. I use the keypress event to capture the Return, and save the data. Then, I play the system sound, clear the text box, and set the focus back to the text box for the...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
