deploy 2005 web site using Framework 2.0 to test server

Test Server Environment is:
Win server 2003, SP1, Installed both Framework 1.1 and Framework 2.0.

I've got a 2005 web site (converted from VS2003). When I deploy to test
server it gives me the following error(Could not load type 'BN.Global').
Before this error I got an error in the web config for this tag so I took it
out ---<xhtmlConforman ce mode="Legacy"/>

Maybe I need to upgrade to SP2 like on my workstation? Also, it looks like
it is using Framework 1.1 instead of 2.0 which is installed...

I am new to VS 2005, but I can't locate the dll for the web site. Where does
it put the dll? The components file dll shows up, but not the web site dll.

Anybody know of of how to help?

Hi, I create and develop my ASP.NET apps locally on my PC, which is running IIS. Now I want to deploy those apps on another web server (application run-time only), so what exactly are the steps? The target web server is a User Test web server which has the .NET Framework only, no VS .NET of course. My first attempt was to copy the bin directory and the .ASPX files

I have seen many posts of people with the same problem as me (attached below), but I have yet to see any solutions posted. Has anyone figured out how to deploy an Asp.net web site to the webserver in any place other than the default website? I do not want to install it there as our IIS has multiple websites, but nowhere is there an option when creating the install package in Visual Studio to specify what website on the server you want to...

I have a ASP.NET 1.1 project that I want to be able to deploy on my web-servers while they have real traffic (40 requests/second). When I copy the projects assembly in the bin-directory of the website directory the application gets restarted and the web server needs to recompile all my aspx-pages. Because the traffic is high the web server needs to recompile a lot of aspx-pages at the same time. Because of this alot of requests gets...

Can someone please let me know what's required to deploy an ASP.NET 2.0 site to a production server? I'm not referring to "Copy Web Site" or how to move the files over, but rather asking about what supporting framework/technology needs to be installed on the production server. For instance, I currently have a production web server running IIS 6 on Win2K3 with old ASP all set up. On my dev box I've been building a new site with ASP.NET...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
