I am trying to replace cookies with the new "Asp.net 2.0 profiles" in my shopping cart application, but I am having trouble to access profile properties using HttpContext.Current.Profile. I can access any other property property of this class from a regular aspx page, but not from inside the class itself. This is the piece of the code that I am trying to get to work which can also be located at the bottom of the page, but so far just...

Hi, I’m having some troubles trying to bind my dataset to a GridView control through an ObjectDataSource control. The binding works fine for regular columns in my dataset, but I can’t seem to get my expression columns to show up in my GridView. Anybody knows any neat tricks to make this work? Here’s a “step-by-step” to reproduce my worries: 1. Create a new “ASP.NET web site” project

I am using DetailsView using ObjectDataSource with DataSourceTypeName assigned to the specific class. SelectMethod, UpdateMethod and DeleteMethod is working successfully, except InsertMethod. The error msg returned is: Cannot insert the employee. With tracing trigger on, I had discovered that the parameter is actually empty. The data entered is not pass into the parameter at all !!! What could be the possible reason?

You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
