I'm not sure what your question is. You seem to have the providers in your
web.config.

If you're wondering how to switch providers, there's code here on loading
and initializing custom providers:

Has anyone else come across this? We are building an ASP.Net application that uses a certficate in the local machine store to sign XML data before transmitting it to a third-party. The third party application was getting an "invalid signature" error upon verification of the signature in our Test environments. I thought perhaps our Production (www) certificate version was being used instead, so I exported it from the Production server and...

Hi, I want to use the aspnet tables (for membership, profiles, roles, etc.) inside my own database. I have succesfully installed these tables. Now I need to tell my application or asp.net 2.0 that it can find these tables inside my database. When I go to "asp.net configuration" it copies a new aspnet database. This is not what I want.

I have just installed VS Net 2005, and SQL Server 2005. Previously I had tried Visual Web Developer 2005, and I was able to follow the tutorials. I transferred some of the example websites to VS 2005. However, I can not get the ASPNet Configuration to work. In VS Net 2005, when I click on the ASPNet Configuration icon, I get (after a very long pause) the first screen with the tabs. I click on Security. ( I tried clicking first on the...

Hi, i have decent experience with asp 3.0 (classic), and downloaded web developer express to see what's the fuzz over it. I have lots of questions, mostly regarding the use of forms and database use. 1) Why should i use the asp:label, asp:textbox, asp:submit instead of plain old html input type="...", form action="..." 2) What's up with all those javascript:__dopostback links when using some controls? Does it mean text browsers and...

Hi, I developed an asp.net based eCommerce Website for a client and it is hosted at discount asp. The site is quite interactive, queries a database a lot and uses ajax.asp.net to spice up interactivity. The service suffers from a lot of restarts since discountasp enforces a 100mb per worker thread limit and when you top it, the service gets restarted. When there is a lot of traffic on the site, this happens

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
