Can Visual Studio 2005 be installed and run in addition to VisualStudio 2003?

I have a "Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team System Beta 2" disk, along
with Visual C#, Visual Basic, and Visual Web Developer 2005 disks. Also
VS 2005 Team Foundation Server, SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition
Community Technology Preview, and VS 2005 Team Suite. Can I safely
install these without doing anything bad to my current VS 2003 setup?
Or would this be asking for trouble? Can I assume that VS 2005 is 100%
backwards compatible with apps that run on VS 2003?

VS 2005 (and all VS.NET's) are designed to be able to co-exist with previous
versions with no side-effects. This is because the new framework that works
with a particular copy of VS.NET is installed IN ADDITION TO the previous
one, not INSTEAD OF the previous one.

Now, having said that, you should NEVER install Beta software on a
production machine.

I hope that there is someone here that can help me. It's not directly related to this group but maybe someone here can help me. I wanted to deploy my Access database to another pc using the Access 2003 Developer Extensions. Check the web and found out that it is part of Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office System, which in turn is a free add-on to Visual Studio 2005. Bought Visual Studio 2005 Pro. (Plenty money right there)....

Hi all, I must be out of my mind. I used visual studio .net 2003 before and I installed 2005 a while back, but seldom to use it. Recently I was required to start to learn C# asp.net. So I tried to open a web application project in 2005. but I cannot find any asp.net web application or asp.net web services project templates which I can see them in .net 2003. What's going on? did I miss anything when I installed? is there any easy way to...

I have a full version of Visual Basic 6 and upgrade versions of Visual Studio 2002, 2003, and 2005. What is the easiest way to do the install? I know in the past, I have done Visual Basic 6, then the 2002 upgrade, then the 2003 upgrade, then the 2005 upgrade. Do I have to perform all of these steps ?

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
