I have a VB.NET console application that uses the Excel PIA. I set it up to run on a W2K box through Task Scheduler, under a domain account that has rights to all of the resources the app uses. I can run this application on my local XP machine with no problem. However, on the W2K machine I received a "No printers are installed" error: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x800A03EC): No printers are installed. The app sets...

Hi: I've got a backend database, with several tables linked together via one-to-many relationships, and a front end database that links to those tables. The problem is, when I attempt to look at the relationships from the front end, I get '' is not a valid name. Make sure that it does not include invalid characters or punctuation and that it is not too long. According to the help window, this is Error 3125. Any ideas? Thank you ......

I am trying to initialize an array whose initializers depend on value of Enums. I take enum and then decide the initializer value, so that even if enum value changes because of addition to list even then I should be able to get correct value for the array element. I need value and state to be present in a single byte thats why I use macros. Here is what my code look like: typedef enum

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
