Adding a HyperLinkField to a DatGrid

I am trying to add a HyperLinkField to a datagrid programatically , but
I keep running into the error:

"CS1502: The best overloaded method match for
'System.Web.UI. WebControls.Dat aGridColumnColl ection.Add(Syst em.Web.UI.WebCo ntrols.DataGrid Column)'
has some invalid arguments"

Here is my code

HyperLinkField column = new HyperLinkField( );
column.DataNavi gateUrlFields = strArray;
column.DataNavi gateUrlFormatSt ring = "edit.aspx?LogI D={0}";
column.DataText Field = strArray[1];
column.DataText FormatString = "{0}";
gridYear.Column s.Add(column);
gridYear.DataBi nd();
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thank you!

I am trying to get a list of files from a specified directory using the System.IO namespace classes, and then use that list as the datasource for a GridView. I have been able to do this successfully. The problem is when I try to hook up a HyperLinkField it's not working. Basically, what I want to end up with is to have the file name listed in the column and have the link point to the full file path, for each file in the list. I've been...

Hi all. Just when I thought I was finished I realized that my table, in the hyperlink field, doesn't have the base address in each link. E.g. I have: 040F-CY181824-MS.JPG where it should be T:\SHARED FILES\Administration\Masters and Molds Photos\040F-CY181824-MS.JPG Since I have over 2000 records I tried to use the below update query but it only updates the "text to display" field and not the acutall "Address". It's supposed to do both....

I am creating the content for my Gridview through code. My last column is a hyperlinkfield. Everything is working fine except for applying my CssClass to the HyperLinkField. I have tried the following: hyperlinkfield.ControlStyle.CssClass = "MyClass" However, this generates no html output to the page and the style is not applied. If I set the code using the ItemStyle instead of controlStyle, it gets applied to the <tdtag. I need...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
