DataGrid to Excel problem (SSL issue)

Hi All,
I am having a problem exporting datagrid to excel in asp.net. The export
function works fine when using "http://", but when I use "https://" (secure
socket layer), it wants me to download the .ASPX file.
Any idea why?

Thanks for your time

I was looking for the easiest way to take a datagrid full of data including two template columns, and export the contents of the grid into Excel by giving an "open or save as" box. I came across the following control which I thought might do it: http://www.codeproject.com/aspnet/Excel_CSV_export_button.asp However, I'm not sure if I added the control correctly to my project via VS2003 or if I am handling the Datagrid to what appears...

Greetings, I'm hoping someone has experienced a problem I'm having: I have an existing ASP application (working fine) that uses an SSL server certificate. My user community is made up of both PC's and Macintosh computers. I've re-written this application in ASP.NET for a number of reasons and now find that my Mac users are having problems with the application. SSL works just fine for PC

Hi, The number of rows in the datagrid on my page are approx. around 14130. When I click on the button that exports the records to excel sheet, the page goes blank (I observed that none of the events are firing). To confirm this is happening because of the no. of rows, I modified the SP to retrieve around only 100 records. I could export these records in the datagrid successfully. I am aware that the max no of rows to export to excel...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
