VS.NET 2003 won't allow check in new webform into ASP.NET web root

Hi All,

I'm having trouble checking in new webform or any type of file into ASP.NET web project's root directory.

After I added new file into local SourceSafe controlled project, everytime I tried to check in new files, the error message box pops up saying "None of the items in the selection are valid for this operation".
And then if you try to check in at the project level, the check in dialog box displays only web project file only not the actual new file.
As a result I can't check in new file in the web project's root directory at all.

This is really weird because you can check in new files in other sub directories.
Only the root directory has problem checking in new file.

Any idea?

Terry

Someone is trying to run my Access 2002 database under Access 2003. He has had a number of problems: 1) i used the MSComCt2.ocx for it's Date and Time picker. I can't find it under 2003. Do I need to send it to them? 2) I have a function to fill a table with values, that store the page and column numbers of a display of staff members. I'm just getting started with ASP.NET, using VS 2005. As an exercise, I opened the root web site in VS 2005 and created a simple welcome page. I saved the page as Default.aspx and made sure that name was the first name on the list id the default documents in the IIS control panel. IIS doesn't recognize Default.aspx as the default page for the IIS root web. It will open the page if I type http://localhost/Default.aspx, and if I create an...

I have a desperate short term need for a way to install Access 2003 runtime on client computers. I have the proper license to do so but I cannot seem to find the files to do it like we did with the old Access 2000 Runtime. Also, I cannot use the MS Package & Deployment wizard because it won't allow us to install our app into the specific path that it must be in. It only seems to allow preset macros to define the target install path --...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
