Web Page Unavailable

Lately I am getting the message: Web Page Unavailable While Offline. The Web Page You Requested Is Not Available Offline. To view this page click connect.

This happens when I am not online. Any good ideas on how to fix this problem?

This is a trick question right?

not online = off line

page not available while offline = page not available when not online.

ergo

connect to isp = get online

once connected, web page will be available.

No, it isn't a trick question. When I am working on my computer (not online), this box pops up that says Web Page Unavailable While Offline (see my original message for further information). I am not working with anything that would require me to go online, so I don't know why the box pops up. Something on my computer must be trying to access something online???

looks like you have a case of Adware....
here's deal...look up google....
for Pest Patrol !!!
thats adware remover.

(download the lastest version and first see if it finds anything... if it
does.. then buy it to remove them)

(I am assuming that when you said you are not doing anything this browser
window pops up... you meant just that...)

I'm running FreeBSD and trying to install mod_php4-4.3.3 from an updated ports tree. When it tries to fetch libtool-1.4.3.tar.gz, I get the following output and it eventually fails. I ended up finding this http://ftp.gnu.org/MISSING-FILES.README on the GNU website. Has anyone else seen this and what are my options besides waiting for them to replace the missing files? ===> Returning to build of mod_php4-4.3.3,1 ===> ...

Hi, I'm using Tomcat 7.2 and I'm trying to deploy an aplication that uses JSP and servlets. I'm actually trying to duplicate a production server but can't get it right. In the directory /whatever/java/tomcat4/webapps I have two other directories called ROOT and test. Under both ROOT and test there is a WEB-INF directory where web.xml file resides. Also, both ROOT and test have login.jsp files. When I type the URL...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
