nunitasp and proxys

I don't know where to post this in terms of newsgroups, this seems
the closest.
Can NUnitAsp handle proxies? As its open source can it be made to? I
don't know enough about the Net stuff to be able to do this.

Hi, I've been using NUnitASP and found that it reaches it's limits very quickly. It has problems with parsing certain pages and raises errors for these when perhaps it shouldn't. Another downside is that it only supports the out of the box Microsoft controls. The people who are producing NUnitASP haven't been able to create another release for almost a year now. I was thinking how an impetus good be given to them to improve it and...

I have turned off the annyomous access on my ASP.Net web application and not set access using NT groups. That works great, except now none of my NUnitASP tests work - everything fails with access denied errors. I have read this article (http://home.iprimus.com.au/lachlanb/nunitasp/nunit.html) and followed the directions in the "Security" section, but was running into some difficulties. I was wondering if anyone had experience passing...

Hi, I want to start unit testing my ASP.NET applications with NUnitAsp. But all my applications are written with the help of custom page and server control classes (They all inherit from core classes though. For example CustomTextBox inherits from TextBox). So the question is this - how do I proceed with testing my apps? Do I need to write my own custom testers? Or should I just test against simple core controls (TextBox, ListBox,...

All, I have started using NUnitASP to write test cases for an ASP.NET application. It works great, but some of the assertions that need to be made depend on values stored in the Session. The problem is that NUnitASP basically acts as a client to webforms and simply abstracts the HTML emitted by the various ASP.NET pages and has no access to the Session or even HttpContext.Current for that matter (its completely detached from the...

When i used NUnitASP in my sample application, i got the error as "type webformtestcase" is not defined", when i am creating the class, which is inherited from this class. I went through some website, and knew that, i have to copy the NunitAdapter.cs file into my sample application.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
