#include virtual

Hi,

I have noticed that in an aspx page

<!--#include virtual="Home.h tm"--> acts the same as <!--#include
File="Home.htm"-->

when I am NOT in the root diectory of the site (I am aware that they will
reference the same file if in the root dir)

for example I have a directory on my site called "Admin" immediatly
subordinate to the root.

using inside default.aspx in "Admin" have the line
<!--#include virtual="Admin/AdminHome.htm"-->
This gives me the error
Could not find a part of the path
"c:\inetpub\www root\Emailer1\A dmin\Admin\Admi nHome.htm". (notice the
duplicate "Admin" dir )

However the following works

<!--#include virtual="AdminH ome.htm"--> and feel it should not becaues in
classic asp virtual references the root of the website.

cheers

Alex.

I've come across a very weird problem. Virtual includes work on all my ASP pages on the entire website, including those in subdirectories, yet they won't work on a particular page I created, even though the virtual include statement is copy & pasted exactly as it appears on the working pages. What would cause virtual includes to work in one...

I'm having a problem which I think has to do with the circular use of inlcuding header files. The short version of my code would look a bit like this, I think: GameEngine.h: #ifndef GAME_ENGINE #define GAME_ENGINE #include "Player.h" class GameEngine
