system.object to namevalue collection

I'm reading some stuff in a custom section of the
web.config file into a name value collection. What do I
need to do to make this work:

Dim nvcConfig As NameValueCollec tion = _
ConfigurationSe ttings.GetConfi g
("myApp/mySection ")

With option strict on?

Could someone help explain thread safety issues in the System.Collections classes? The documentation states: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thread Safety Public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are safe for multithreaded operations. Instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe. A SortedList can support multiple readers concurrently,...

I am storing these "ResultNodes" as System.Xml.XmlElements but when I try and serialize (serialise) my result object I get the following exception: "System.InvalidOperationException" - "There was an error generating the XML document" "The type System.Xml.XmlElement...

Hi, I have a collection object bound to a data grid, after I remove an item from the collection, the minute I click on the datagrid I get an error saying the specified argument was out of the range of valid values. After I remove the element from the collection I clear the databindings from the data grid and rebind it but as far as I can tell the collection seems to be the right size but for some reason when I

I have a problem in which I'm trying to access a method in a .DLL from an ASP.Net web page (written in C#). I keep on getting the error "The current configuration system does not support user-scoped settings". I've done some research into this problem and I've found out that the solution has something to do with the ConfigurationManager.AppSettings for settings, or Profiles for per-user configutation in ASP.Net 2.0. However, I don't know...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
