what is database growth max size = -1

P: 1
I ran this script:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. select db_name(database_id) as db
  2.  ,name,type_desc,physical_name
  3.  ,size
  4.  ,max_size
  5.  ,growth
  6.  ,is_percent_growth
  7.  from sys.master_files
On a number of the databases, the max_size returns a -1. I don't know what that means.

Please use code tags when posting code.

That means the size isn't limited.
