ASP simulation in Windows XP HOME

I understand that Windows HOME does not support ASP.

1. Is there an ASP simulator for use in Windows XP Home?

2. If I wish to use ASP with Window XP Home, is it true that I must publish the webpage(s) to a server first to run them? I am a strict newbie at ASP and will have to learn the language.

Thanks,

Ron

You can try Apache with the SunOne ASP module. I have no experience with it personally but it is a viable option.

Apache

SunOne ASP

Have you investigated, ahem, PHP? It is very easy to set up and administer with the likes of EasyPHP / Xamp, etc and is great for personal use and will run on XP Home.

The powers that be strike me down!

Baby Web Server is okay, too. It's kinda crude, but supports most if not all ASP commands.
