my ASP Application is slow

Hello,
i have ASP application running with SQL Server 2000 backend it was working ok before but now its working slowly what is the solution can anyone help me
when i click on the links to go to a specific table it take too much time

How large are the tables being shown? How long does the query take to execute when you run it from Sql Server Management Studio?
